At just 30, chef Salvatore Moscato opens the doors of his pizzeria with its allure of a chic canteen, imagined by the British architect, Macaulay Sinclair. Scents of tomatoes and various artisanal cheeses waft your way escaping from the immense open kitchen, decorated by electric blue tiles. On the menu there is a ‘Parmatador', with fior di latte mozzarella, prosciutto Toscano and spinach, or the 'Double Truffle' with black truffles from the Molise region. Add some Italian style street-food dishes such as finocchiona (fennel salami), fried dishes to share or artichokes alla giudia.
A bit thirsty? No problem. Le Popolare has the largest bar in Paris with no less than 500 types of alcohol and cocktails. And since partying is a speciality of the Big Mamma collective, attend live concerts and parties until 2 a.m. every Thursday and Saturday night.
